Back-End Web Developer (m/f/d)

We are looking for an analytical, results-driven Back-End Web Developer who will work with team members to troubleshoot and improve current back-end applications and processes. Your primary focus will be development of all server-side logic, definition and maintenance of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end.

Education & Qualifications:
Higher Degree or diploma in IT or related field
Fluent in spoken and written English
Team player with the ability to work in small teams
Experience:
Min 5yrs experience
HTML5 / HTML
RESTful control APIs and networking
Proficient knowledge of a back-end programming language PHP, Python, JavaScript and operating systems
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git CVS, or SVN
Experience with SQL, MySQL
Strong understanding of web development cycle and programming techniques and tools
Understanding of “session management” in a distributed server environment
Preference will be given to candidates demonstrating competency in the following:
Experience in API connectivity on different hardware and software platforms preferred but not necessary
Additional expertise in front-end systems (VUE js and related) preferred but not necessary – would be a bonus
For the suitable candidate, the position may require leading a small team of front-end developers.
